Tim Rose is Chief Executive Officer of the University of Virginia Foundation, the parent corporation to the UVA Real Estate Foundation, Boar's Head Inn and Birdwood Golf course, Morven Farms, the Historic Renovation Corporation, and University Retirement Corporation. In addition to these real estate projects, the Foundation provides financial management assistance to the University and manages two research parks - the Fontaine Research Park, and the University of Virginia Research Park at North Fork.
Mr. Rose formerly served as an assistant vice president at UVA and has held teaching positions at two other universities in addition to working in student affairs early in his career. Mr. Rose received his undergraduate and masters degrees from Miami University and his Ph.D. from the University of Virginia. He has served in various leadership positions with the Urban Land Institute, Albemarle County Police Foundation, Rivanna Water & Sewer Authority, North Charlottesville Business Council, Leadership Charlottesville, Thomas Jefferson Planning District Sustainability Council, Trinity Presbyterian Church, and Love INC. Tim's wife Margaret currently spends much of her time raising their two young children. |
