Elizabeth Turrisi joined the Foundation in 2026 to lead operational innovation and organizational effectiveness. With extensive experience in technology strategy, process improvement, and organizational change management, she brings a track record of co-creating solutions that solve complex problems and improve organizational systems and staff experience.

Elizabeth joins from the UVA Alumni Association, where she served as Chief Technology Officer, leading technology services and business intelligence initiatives. Prior to that, she led teams at CFA Institute, including the Global Strategic Design team, which focused on enhancing organizational effectiveness through project management, business process improvement, and change management. Earlier in her career, she served as Director of Information Services at the Charlottesville Area Association of REALTORS® and worked as a systems engineer at AT&T.

Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from MIT and her Master's degree in Computer Science from Brown University.

Outside of work, she is a strong supporter of nonprofit organizations and previously served as President of the Camp Holiday Trails Board.
